Clipframe is a screen recording and video editing tool. It contains no content of its own beyond its own interface.

What it does not contain

• No violence, frightening or mature themes of any kind
• No profanity, sexual content, nudity, alcohol, tobacco, drugs or gambling
• No advertising
• No web browsing, and no in-app links to unfiltered content
• No chat, messaging, social features or user-generated content shared between people
• No location access

What people make with it

Clipframe records whatever is on your own screen, so the content of a recording is entirely yours. It is never uploaded, never shared through Clipframe, and never seen by anyone else — there is no server, no account and no social layer. Recordings stay on the Mac that made them unless the person who made them chooses to move them.

Data and children

Clipframe collects no data from anyone, of any age. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising identifier. Caption transcription runs on the device. See the privacy policy for the detail.

Purchases

The app is free. A single optional in-app purchase removes the export watermark. On the Mac App Store, purchases are protected by Apple's own parental controls and Ask to Buy, which work as they do for any other app.
