Buying Clipframe gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it on the Macs you own or control. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or share your licence key.
The licence is perpetual for the major version you bought. It does not expire, and it does not stop working if you stop paying for anything, because there is nothing to keep paying for. A future major version may be a separate purchase.
Your recordings are yours. We claim no rights over anything you produce with Clipframe, and no licence to it. We never see it.
Clipframe can be used without buying a licence. Exports made this way carry a small visible mark. Removing or obscuring that mark without a licence is not permitted.
If Clipframe does not do what this site says it does, write to hello@clipframe.app within 30 days and we will refund you. You do not need a reason.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Because a licence key is delivered immediately, that right can be waived at checkout — where it is not waived, it applies in addition to the refund policy above, and nothing here reduces it.
Clipframe is provided as it is. We work hard to make it correct and fast, but we do not warrant that it is free of defects or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of anything that matters — a screen recorder is not a backup.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, which cannot be limited.
Your licence ends if you breach these terms. You may stop using Clipframe at any time.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protections of your own country's law.
